Grammy Nominated artist Matisyahu Singer, Songwriter, Rapper, Musician recites the Shema on November 14, 2023, March for Israel DC.

The mezuzah scroll captures two Hebrew portions of the book of דְּבָרִים (Devarim), a book name that means “words.”

The first line from 6:4 translates as “Hear, O Israel, the L‑rd is our G‑d, the L‑rd is One.”

In the second part from 11:17, G-d tells us what will happen if we turn away from loving and serving him with all our hearts and souls.
